Golden Cap, the highest point along the Dorset Coast and a prominent feature of the Jurassic Coast heritage, is a landmark I have long been familiar with. It dominates the horizon for those living and traveling through this part of Dorset. I have been fortunate to spend many hours exploring its slopes—walking up and down, around and beneath—while capturing the surrounding landscape and vistas through painting. Although the area remains an active working farm, much of the income generated by the hills and fields now comes from the thriving tourism industry.
